I’ve read approximately 3 million books, give or take, since Christmas. I’ve always wanted a place to share new favorite reads and to invite favorites from you.
So I’ll be using this new books page to casually discuss things I’ve liked and disliked about the books I’m reading.
The hardest part, I think, will be ensuring this space is less review-y and more just a fun place to chitter chatter about reading, a generally boring and lonely past time that I love so much. Plus, I have to figure out a way to illustrate the books without just snapping a picture of the cover, which will probably happen. This photo, for instance, hopefully speaks to one of my favorites of the year, Lord of Misrule by Jaimy Gordon. Stay tuned for more.
