Still, there are things I just can't wait until my daughter is old enough to enjoy -- either with me or by herself. I'm talking life-altering, revelatory experiences that can put you on a whole new path. Like watching "The Black Hole."

just so you know…if i ever run into you and your daughter…I’m going to scoop her up and wallow in the sweetness that is Emme.
you and dana are so lucky…and emme, she is lucky too. I know you don’t necessarily share the “not so sweet parts” of being Emme’s parents…but it appears to me you are doing a GRAND job!
a true peanut!
And no matter what you got that hat for, it was money well spent. Rock on!
Happy birthday to Emme!
It just about fits her now!
Oh, sorry — I meant third Christmas. Still a ways to go before she gets high on birthday cake, as opposed to, say, gingerbread men. But thanks!
I see by the 3rd Christmas Emme learned she does not want to sit on that cold ground with all the needles on it! Maybe it’s a thinking cap!
Three years is a pretty good learning curve in our family … She’s already the smart one.
Hm, three years in the same hat? Would that qualify for a hat trick or did I really screw this comment up?
Yeah, I’m going with the latter. Nice try though.
she is so cute, it hurts my heart!
Well-worn and well-made. But by the 23rd Christmas, it might be time to lay it to rest somewhere in the yard, regardless.
I don’t know, the thing even fits me. It’s a magic hat made for infants and adult men. Now if only the same could be said of her coat.
How cute! And it’s amazing that it hasn’t been lost yet!
My niece has a hat like that .. she is 7 and she’s been wearing it since she was an infant.
You can see the girl that she is in the baby that she was. Adorable.
She looks so grown up!
[...] again, most of them (like *cough* Emmeline, the world’s best-dressed toddler) have lucked into parents with some fashion sense. Not so [...]
Hi,
The kid is soooo cuteeeeee…
Reminds me of my nephew.
The hat looks really good.
